A Happy Beginning

The solid, quick flutter of a (single) 9-week heartbeat was our gift at the OB's office this morning?  Our bonus prize?  Some "gratuitous" body wriggling and movement on screen.

We've still got a long way to go, but we crossed a huge mile marker today - at least in my mind.  The next couple of months will still pass too slowly for my comfort, but I can at least allow my mind to wander to the future just a little (and another December baby)...and maybe I'll even go pull out the maternity clothes I could never convince myself to part with.

Thank you so much for your continued prayers, support, thoughts of good will.  They keep me looking forward.

On a different note, have we shown you our peonies?
