It was a lovely, simple ceremony, officiated by Father Callis, the pastor of our church, Holy Face Catholic Church in Great Mills, Maryland.
We missed having family present to celebrate the occasion with us and were so thankful for the presence of long-time friends Paul, Stephanie, Hannah, and Emily Grzybowski, neighbors Jim and Joan Turner, co-worker and friend of Jeremy's, Ron Hess, and godparent-proxies Mary Clare and Chris Hammond, to celebrate the occasion.
Both boys behaved well - no tears or whining. Graham was just a little too big for the borrowed baptism outfit and we played a constant game of snap the onesie, that, judging from the photos, we mostly lost. He passed out in the car on the way home and is still asleep 2 1/2 hours later. The rest of us enjoyed dinner at the house afterwards with our guests.
Aw, that's sweet that the brothers got to do it together. I bet that was special for Gideon and Graham is so adorable!
